Water Conservation and Pond Restoration in Rural India

Invest in Socially and Environmentally-conscious projects

From a pond restoration project in rural India to provide water for agriculture, to empowering women from disadvantaged backgrounds in Singapore, we continue to explore socially and environmentally-conscious projects where we can make a positive impact.

Support Underprivileged Communities

We are committed to working with underprivileged communities and one of our biggest projects is our contribution towards the setting up of an eye hospital in the East Champaran District of Bihar, India.

    Commitment to wildlife preservation

In line with our commitment to ESG principles, we have been a proud partner of Mandai Wildlife Group for several years. In 2020, we started our sponsorship of the adult male pygmy hippo, Divo, at the Singapore Zoo to contribute to the protection and preservation of vulnerable species like pygmy hippos.

Conservation isn’t just about saving one species – it is also about safeguarding entire ecosystems and ensuring a sustainable future for generations to come. By protecting pygmy hippos, we are also protecting the forests and waterways they call home, along with the countless other species that rely on these habitats for survival.

At Agrocorp, we believe that businesses have a responsibility to be stewards of the environment. Our support for the pygmy hippo is just one example of our efforts to make a positive impact beyond our bottom line.

Commitment to nurturing future generations of leaders through education and sharing of knowledge.

Agrocorp has been involved in Nanyang Technological University’s International Trading Programme since 2022. As part of the programme, we teach the “Introduction to Commodity Markets” module for first and second year university students. Through this programme we aim to impart the knowledge and expertise of our industry to eager students.
