We are glad to partner Project HiFi (Help in Farmers’ Interest) and Dreams Alive to address problems faced by farmers that are caused by climate change in India.
This project supports water conservation and pond restoration.

Restoration of these ponds will:

  • serve as water storage
  • provide drinking water for all the nearby villagers
  • provide water for agriculture
  • Improve ground water level and help to feed thirsty animals and birds.

The project started just before Covid, and as expected, the challenges imposed by the pandemic put a damper on the project. However, with the support of Kaveri Delta Farmers association, the work continued and we are proud to say that towards the completion of the project, we have successfully restored more than 10 ponds, canal stretches, and planting one thousand trees in Delta District.
We are proud to receive an award from Dr Arun Thamburaj, District Collector of Nagapattinam alongside our partners, in recognition of our contributions towards this restoration project.
